Little Pumpkin Quilt - Pattern Corrections

I guess I'm human and mistakes happen sometimes - in this case, it's a pattern error! Oh no! A couple corrections are below.

The first one is a simple typo: in the cutting instructions, it should say 5.5” x 7.5”, not 5.5" x 5.7”

The second one is for the required background yardage. I originally made the quilt pattern by request as an extension of the pillow pattern and therefore didn’t include fabric requirements for making the actual pumpkins - just the quilt assembly. However, it would be really helpful to know the total yardage needed for making the whole quilt including pumpkins, of course!

Background fabric for the quilt assembly is 2.5 yards, and for 49 pumpkins (assuming approximately half of the pumpkins have leaf units and bent stems) you'll need an additional 3/4 yard. Therefore, pumpkins + quilt borders + sashing will require a total of 3.25 yards background fabric, or 3.5 just to be safe.

I’ve updated the quilt pattern extension with these corrections and you can download the update below:

Instructions for making the pumpkins for the quilt are included in the Little Pumpkin Pillow pattern.

Thank you! I hope these help and that you have a lovely day!

🧡Natalie
